New Exhibitions: Ann Resnick and Shin-Hee Chin

27 11 2013

Two exhibitions not to be missed before the holidays:

Ann Resnick, “Inconsolable,” at the Bethel College Fine Arts Center Gallery. Ann’s residency included paper-cutting workshops with residents of a local retirement home, the results of which became “For You,” the large installation that opens the exhibition. The exhibition is on display through December 8. Don’t miss it!

Shin-Hee Chin, “Mother Tongue and Motherhood,” is on display at the Lawrence Arts Center through January 5. The artist explores her shifting personal and cultural identity through the dual lenses of transnationalism and motherhood.
