The Feminist Art Project (TFAP) is an international collaborative initiative celebrating the Feminist Art Movement and the aesthetic, intellectual and political impact of women on the visual arts, art history, and art practice, past and present. The project is a strategic intervention against the ongoing erasure of women from the cultural record. TFAP promotes diverse feminist art events, education and publications through its website and online calendar and facilitates networking and regional program development throughout the world. The TFAP website can be accessed here: http://feministartproject.rutgers.edu/home/

This site represents the Kansas Chapter of TFAP. We seek to promote feminist artists and exhibitions within our state and provide opportunities for collaboration between Kansas feminists in the visual arts.

Hello to Kansas TFAP Reps from Oklahoma! Molly O’Connor and I are the OK reps for TFAP and we saw in the recent email that the midwest has a real presence! We thought we would touch base with you so we could discuss how we could possibly do something regionally to promote and support our female artists.

Hope to hear from you soon.
